Steve Wettach approves School Office move to US Bank
The Mt. Pleasant Community School District Central Office has found a home for the transitional period between the end of this school year and when work is completed on the district's space on the second floor of the former Mt. Pleasant high school building.
The district will make its temporary home in the basement of U.S. Bank in Mt. Pleasant, and will be charged $300 per month for all expenses from rent to utilities. The cost is about what the district pays in utilities at the current location.
Superintendent John Roederer (...) said U.S. Bank had backed far away from their original proposal of more than $1,000 per month, and board member Steve Wettach moved to accept the offer with congratulations to the bank for being "a good, responsible corporate citizen." (...)
